How do purple products work?
Purple is opposite yellow on the color wheel, so they cancel each other out. Bold Uniq purple shampoo and purple conditioning mask cool yellow tones in the hair.

What will Bold Uniq do for my blonde hair?
Bold Uniq is for dyed or natural light-blonde shades to reduce brassiness. The intense violet pigments neutralize warm, brassy hues for cooler platinum and ash-blonde shades.
Results are dependent on your starting shade.

How quickly should I expect to see results after using Bold Uniq?
If used correctly, you should see color-correcting results immediately after rinsing hair. If you don’t see a difference, you may be using too little product, you haven’t left it on for long enough or your starting shade is too dark.

How often should I use Bold Uniq?
It is not necessary to use every time you wash your hair, use products as needed for maintenance and color correction.
We recommend using the purple shampoo once or twice a week, alternating with your regular shampoo.
Use the purple conditioning mask once or twice a week to tone subtle brassiness and hydrate dry, damaged strands.

Will my hair go back to its original color if I stop using Bold Uniq?
Yes. Purple pigments treat the surface of your hair and results generally last from 2-6 washes, depending on your hair type. Effects will fade if you discontinue use.

The shampoo and mask are very dark purple. Will it dye my hair?
Bold Uniq is not a dye.
With repeated use, prolonged leave on times, or use on damaged, porous hair, a purple tinge may be visible after use. Use a clarifying shampoo to remove unwanted color. Blow-dry and straighten the hair to evaporate purple tones.
If the hair has high porosity, dilute with regular shampoo or conditioner and leave in for minimal time.
The pigment may temporarily discolor hands, we provide gloves to avoid purple fingers and nails!

Is Bold Uniq purple shampoo drying?
Purple shampoos can be drying but our scientists have worked hard to make Bold Uniq purple shampoo as conditioning as possible. After rinsing, follow with a hydrating conditioner to lock moisture into hair strands.

When is the best to introduce Bold Uniq into my hair routine?
Wait at least 1-2 weeks after chemically lightening or perming before using purple shampoo or mask; treatments can make hair porous and cause uneven, patchy results.

I am naturally blonde, can I use purple shampoo or mask?
BOLD UNIQ can be used on natural blonde hair to make natural tones cooler, ashier and brighter.

I'm brunette, will Bold Uniq work on my hair?
Purple shampoo and mask work on light-colored hair. If you are full brunette, the products won’t do anything for you.

What about highlighted, ombre and silver hair?
If you are brunette with blonde highlights, balayage, or ombre, Bold Uniq will keep your blonde in check. The shampoo and mask can also be used on grey, silver or salt & pepper hair to reduce yellowness.

Can I use Bold Uniq on hair extensions?
Bold Uniq has not been specifically tested on hair extensions and may interfere with bonds; we recommend doing a strand test before use.

Can this be used with hair that has been straightened?
Bold Uniq products can be used on straightened hair. However, purple shampoo can dry hair, which does risk damage if the hair is already brittle from the straightening process.
We recommend using a deep conditioning treatment before using purple shampoo, and following with a hydrating conditioner. Alternatively, use Bold Uniq purple mask regularly for subtle toning while conditioning dry hair.

When will my order be shippied?
All orders are dispatched within 1 business day of ordering.

Can I change my order after has been placed?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of the order being placed. Please email us at info@bolduniq.com with your order number as soon as you realize you want to change your order. We will try our best to accommodate your request.

Can I track my order?
We provide a tracking number for all of our orders. The tracking number is sent in your shipping confirmation email.

What countries do you ship to?
We only ship to the UK at the moment. We will ship to all EU countries soon.

Do I have to pay a custom fee?
Some international orders outside will be subject to local taxes, duties and customs charges for which the recipient is responsible.
Customs fees vary from country-to-country and are unfortunately out of our control. We can't refund you for custom fees. Contact your local postal authority for more information on customs charges in your country.
Returns & Refunds

How do I return a product or get a refund?
If you are not happy with your purchase please don't hesitate to contact us at info@bolduniq.com to arrange a return and refund.
Note that all products that are being returned for a refund must be returned within 30 days of receipt of the parcel at your address.

What happens if my order gets lost in the post?
Unfortunately now and again orders do go missing in the post. We will honor a refund but we have to wait until a number of days have passed with no delivery. For US orders this time period is 14 working days and for international, it is 21 working days. This is in line with our courier and postage partners.
